Marc Wijsman is our dedicated Senior Buyer at Topa Thermal, playing a pivotal role in securing competitive pricing for our valued customers. He is the vital link between our manufacturing and sales teams, ensuring both departments are aligned to deliver timely and competitive thermal packaging solutions.
Marc’s responsibilities include visiting suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing pricing and deliveries, and involvement in product development. By maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, Marc ensures consistent availability and stable pricing – a common challenge in the industry – and which is crucial for customer satisfaction.
Marc joined Topa Thermal in December 2023. With extensive experience in purchasing within the lighting industry, particularly with technical products like greenhouse lamps, Marc brings valuable skills to his role. He holds a degree in Logistics & Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain.
He particularly values the helpfulness and motivation of his colleagues at Topa Thermal. The collaborative culture, where everyone works towards the common goal of customer satisfaction and company growth, is something he values highly.
Outside of work, Marc enjoys cycling and travelling, to stay active and explore new places.

William G Pollard – (1911–1989) was an American physicist and Episcopal priest who made significant contributions to both science and religion. He began his academic career as a physics professor at the University of Tennessee in 1936. In 1946, he was instrumental in establishing the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies (ORINS), where he served as executive director until 1974. Marc embraces Pollard’s belief in the necessity of continuous learning and innovation for sustained success: “Learning and innovation go hand in hand.”
